Achievements
1. Ms.Indu Sharma, a student of DSVV secured the first position in the All India Yoga Competition at Guru Nanak Dev University held in Jan. 2003.
2. 9 out of a group of 10 students of yoga team representing the state of Uttaranchal were selected from the university.
3. Ms. Indu Sharma begged the bronze medal for the state of Uttaranchal in the Inter-state competition held at Chennai from 27th February 2004 to 29th February 2004.
4. Student's participation in organizing specialized camp in the area of "Holistic Health Management", "Yog-therapy", "Psycho-therapy" and "Scientific Spirituality" for the benefit of the common man.
5. Our Yoga Instructor Sh. Samresh Kashyap won Gold Medal in the National Yogasana Championship held at Varanasi on 12-14th May, 2006
6. The University got the first prize in the Herbal Expo 2006 at Dehradun. The Governor of Uttaranchal visited the stall of DSVV and appreciated it.
7. Yog Acharya Ms.Indu Sharma brought laurels for the university by participating in the All India Yogasana Championship in the year 2006.
8. Ms. Anshu Sharma student of Yoga Certificate Course won Bronze medal in the National Shooting Competition in 2006. She was the first women from the Uttarakhand state to win a prize in this category.
9. Dsvv provided Yoga Training in the seven Rajeev Gandhi Navodaya Vidyalayas of Uttarakhand State.
10. Dsvv provided Yoga Training to all the District Education Training Institutes in the Uttarakhand state.
11. Under the Internship Programme, 24 groups went to different States in the month of May 2007 and conducted Yoga Training camps, Drug addiction programs, Nari jagran programs and programs based on various social orthodoxes and social evils.
12. Dsvv Students donated their blood in the year 2007 in the IMA Dehradun under the patronage of Honorable Governor of Uttarakhand.(three times this year)
13. In the year 2006-2007 Dsvv students got their Placement in reputed Institutions like Morarji Desai National Yog Institue New Delhi, Amar Ujala, Dainik Bhaskar, Raman Fitness and Sports Academy Gurgaon, JSS Mahavidyapeeth, Harmilap Hospital, Hardwar, Krishna Engineering College, P.G. Girls college Indore, Indian Airlines, Schools like in DPS Society etc.
14. Establishment of Psycho Therapy Clinic Unique in the Country.
15. Ph.D. Programme in areas relating to Indian Culture & Vedic Studies.
16. Research and Development in Yagyopathy.
